[nflug] Firefox and jre

That made a difference! Now, just going to the test page blows Firefox
out of the water. I don't even have to click on the test button.

Bottom line:
Can someone tell me how to reinstall Tbird and ff "the right way"
instead of in my user directory? I would have done it that way to start
with if I knew how to get them to work.

I almost had Tbird installed that way before, but the extension manager
wouldn't work right because of permissions or something like that.
If I install them in root land, I still have to know how to update them
and their extensions/themes, etc. (and when they try to autoupdate and
I'm running in user land, how would that work?)

I have a similar problem with OOo 2.x. I knew exactly how to do it with
1.x (the install -net option), then they completely changed the install
procedure (and although it's still under /opt where it belongs, I never
went back to figure out how to enable it for multiple users or if I have
to do anything at all.)
