1. Go into your firefox folder and do these;
 a."mv plugins oldplugins"
 b."ln -s /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins ."
2. Having your java installed under your home directory may not be a 
good thing as I don't believe that Mandrake created home directories 
world readable. Just a thought.
3. Unless your Mozilla folder (/usr/lib/mozilla) is the one that runs 
1.7.11, then it might have to do with #2 above otherwise you probably 
have another mozilla folder that your 1.7.11 runs from.
