[nflug] Firefox and jre

Just to check things out, I put ff back the way it was and launched it 
from xterm.  It seems to have non-fatal problems anyway.

What log is it cutting?  All I see is ~/inst6alls/firefox/installs.log 
which just shows when I updated extensions.
