audio cd

I got the problem fixed, audio cd's sound great thru
the sound system. The cable out of the cd didn't seem
plugged in all the way but I don't think that was the
problem. I had the other end plugged into the mother
board so I tried it on the sound card pins and that
didn't work so there was another set of 4 pins so I
hooked it up there and wala! I think I even got the
right and left channel right on the first try. The
connector has a clip and the only place to clip it to
was on the system board so that is where I put it. The
4 pins on the sound card are free standing without any
key or clip so it could be put on either way, right or
left and there are no markings on the board or info in
the dinkey sound card manual which tell you which way
to put the connector on. Plus there are 3 places to
plug it into, on the sound card and a couple on the
mother board.
Thanks everyone for all your help, without it I
wouldn't have narrowed down the problem as fast.
