Amanda

Bob,

Don't know if you get SysAdmin, but the April issue was all about
backup and recovery. One of the articles was this:

http://www.samag.com/documents/s=7033/sam0204a/sam0204a.htm

Between that and the sources listed, I was able to get amanda up and
running. But I really can't offer much help past that. A software
vendor managed to convince my boss that all our problems were
Linux related and he decreed a switch to Win00 Server, so now it's
gone! :-( And ... of course ... the problems w/ the program remain!
:-P

Well, one of our 8-port switches cooked itself yesterday ... I got a
replacement today, so it's back to rerouting the jury-rig I threw
together yesterday. No biggie, but annoying.
