NTP and win2k

Darin,

I had this problem a while ago:

1) execute the command: net time /setsntp:"you.ntp.machine
your.other.ntp.machines"

and then nothing happens. :) So, then you need to

2) go to services in control panel and change the "Windows time" service
from manual to automatic, and then start it.

The default setting for net time to update (once it starts) is :
"SpecialSkew" = once every 45 minutes until 3 good synchronizations occur,
then once every 8 hours (3 per day) [default]

Part 2, changing it from manual to Automatic is probably what you need
most here.
