[nflug] Mounting an XD card on kubuntu gutsy

Hi.  When I put an sd card into the card reader slot on my HP dv5000 
notebook Centrino duo, kubuntu gutsy, an icon appears on the desktop and 
it mounts fine.
When I put an xd card in the same reader, the light on the reader 
flashes and the hard drive light flashes, but that's all I see.
ls /dev/sd* shows only my hard drive devices (sdax).

lspci shows
08:06.2 Mass storage controller: Texas Instruments 5-in-1 Multimedia 
Card Reader (SD/MMC/MS/MS PRO/xD)

What do I do to get this mounted?  I need to get the pictures from my 
camera.
