[nflug] mplayer plugin ubuntu

Been trying to get mplayer plugin to work still I have
sound but no video I have installed tthe codecs
according to the readme file in essentials plugins. I
noticed on my other veriosn of FF that I got the
plugin working the codecs are in  FF Preference >
content > manage and all the codecs are listed. This
version of FF does not have all the codecs in manage.
Wher do I copy the files so FF can reconize the
codecs. I cant seem to find the path to where FF finds them
