I haven't had much to say in a while - Big Blue keeps me pretty busy - guess what doing?  Yeah MS windows patches/security fixes/ scheduling outages for more patches Bleah - but it's a living - I hope to get a linux contract in the future so I'll bide my time.

Anywho I had to pipe in and say how SICK I am of browsing for electronics, tea, dog booties, heck collectible thimbles and every webpage is Blaring that VISTA is here!!! I want to retch!

Of course a webpage that sells lawn furniture SHOULD sell Windows Vista as well.  I now know why Windows and not Linux or any other OS will always stay on folks desktop - no other OS makes any company -no matter what their business- money!  Seriously Every company sells Windows new OS and depends on it for a bit of profit, Linux makes no one profits for sellign the OS - why waste webspace and effort marketing something that doesn't make direct profit.  

Just a random thought.  

Now I'm going to search for some Window treatments and I can guarantee I'll see a Windows VISTA add since it's for WINDOWS!  ha ha get it - windows ... never mind...

I think they should just skip the next windows version, and every version after that. The fact that people are already talking about the 'buzz' of the next version shows vista wasn't the gift from the windows god that they hoped for. Some of my friends are the biggest M$ fan boys and yet they are still not going to use vista. In fact I got the one to run fedora core because he wanted the pretty graphics :) Some people *cough* companies *cough* just don't know when its time to tap out!
