I'm not sure if you can do this with knoppix but you usually need the 
following setup on your network to do a network installation. If you 
where trying to get this working with SuSE I could provide and point to 
you copious amounts of information.

- DHCP/BOOTP server
- tftp server
- OS Install server (running nfs, http, ftp, etc)
