A. the big problem with the thin client stuff is that
the setup for Win2k, 2k3 server allowing for thin
client is pretty expensive...roundabout $100 per
connection.

B. Depending on the level of the school, you may want
to check out something called moodle (www.moodle.org)
as a web based classroom management system.  I'm using
it now at ITT and it is pretty boss.  Web based,
everything (homeworks, grades, lessons, quizzes, chat,
forum, etc) can be done through the web client.  Makes
classroom organization a snap, and grading and
tracking large numbers of students gets easier.

The kids might not care, but the teachers may love
it..
