JJ, Appearently, there was a fallout over this.

try this, cdrecord -v -eject speed=24 dev=/dev/hdc
-multi whatever.file.iso
(or whatever /dev/hd* your cd burner is on)
should say can't find file. you can also use cdrecord
-scanbus or
cdrecord dev=help to scan for devices. I used to use
dev=ATA:1,2,0 ,but now
/dev/hdc works.
Play around with dev=? and something should work.
