Off-Topic, XP Reinstall

    After looking at your boot.ini file again, you definately have two 
different Windows XP installations, one in %systemdrive%\Windows and 
one in %systemdrive%\WINDOWS.0

Boot to the one the audio works on and get your driver info before you 
reformat and reinstall.
