I'm usually one of those that likes to do things the
hard way (because you usually cant easily script a
GUI) I would recommend that you look at webmin
(www.webmin.com).  

It is a gui for almost everything on Linux/Unix box,
is open source/Free, and the Samba module is very
good.

That will take a lot of the pain out of creating
machine accounts (which are a pain in the neck, easliy
scripted, but still a pain!)
