Fedore core 3 test 1 and public Linux lab news

I just installed FC3-test1. I like that Fedora now supports firewire.

No galeon web browser, though. Plenty of new toys to play with.

Does anyone use whiteboxlinux Enterprise Linux? Supposedly a clone of RHEL. I
hope to have the .iso files by end of next week.

I went to the UB public Linux lab, but they were closed, doing maintenance. I
was told it would be at least another week before they open again, maybe longer.
It was cool to find an educational institution that actually has a public linux
lab. I recommended to the staffer that maybe they could have a computer that
people could practice doing Open-source installs on, a computer that would be
wiped clean daily, or something like that.
