audio cd

I put the cd in and nothing happens, any other data cd
automounts and konqueror opens. If I try to mount it,
I get wrong fs type error. Everything else works,
burning cd's, copying files, rpm's etc. I can mount the
cd I burned with all the ripped tracks and play them
no problem. Sounds like I must have something not
quite right, I'll have to do some more searching, I
think I remember something about RH not supporting
something to do with cd's, I think there was a fix but
I can't recall if it was audio cd support? Is xmms
what I need or is that just an mp3 thing? I downloaded
and installed xmms but I haven't really looked into
how to use it yet.
Thanks
JB
