Fubared terminfo?

On my xbox, I think my terminfo if fubared. When I try to vi a file, I
get:

E558: Terminal entry not found in terminfo
'vt100' not known. Available builtin terminals are:
    builtin_ansi
    builtin_xterm
    builtin_iris-ansi
    builtin_dumb
defaulting to 'ansi'

And I also get:

root at xbox:~# top
'vt100': unknown terminal type.
root at xbox:~# clear
'vt100': unknown terminal type.
root at xbox:~#

Playing with my TERM variable doesn't seem to help.

The box is really a x86, running Xebian (Xbox Debian). An apt-cache search
doesn't seem to find anything that would help with terminfo stuff. Any
ideas?
