I have seen several warnings on the Lockergnome site about not downloading
from a ftp site using Microsoft. It can screw up the files because they
aren't in "Microsoft's format".

true, it shouldnt, but i had several problems with microsoft's FTP client,
but the Redhat client didnt give me a problem ;)
