I'm assuming you're trying to make personal copies of
commercial DVD's?

Alright. This is more Windows experience then Linux
experience, but the concept should be just the same
anyways.../

I'm fairly certain that you need to fish for the key
to the dvd by playing it first (play the title
credits, close the app, then rip).

I'm probably wrong, but it couldn't hurt to try.
