Console High Resolution

Hi all,
 I use Redhat 8.0 and I would like to have the console in high
resolution like Slackware 8 has, and maybe even the little penguin.  I
know it has something to do with editing the grub.conf file.  I can't
find much info about this, only about editing the lilo.conf on google.
I know I need to add the line vga=794 to grub.conf but I don't know
where.  Can anyone help?  Anyone using Grub?  Can u post ur grub.conf
file?  Or can someone please send me
/usr/src/linux/Documentation/fb/vesafb.txt to shipdadip at adelphia.net.  I
don't have it.
