Mozilla Crashing when I go to Java sites

Hi all, I use Redhat 8.0 and Mozilla 1.2.1.  I installed Java, and it
used to work, but it doesn't work anymore.  When I go to a java website
like Yahoo chat Mozilla crashes to the desktop.  I've reinstalled
Mozilla and Java and it is still happening.  Here is what the console
says when it crashes:

INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: Exec of "java_vm" failed: 2

System error?:: No such file or directory
Gdk-ERROR **: Fatal IO error 9 (Bad file descriptor) on X server :0.0.
INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: Could not read ack from browser
System error?:: Resource temporarily unavailable

Can anyone help?
