RFC - Translators

In doing web research on various topics, and Linux in particular, I
often encounter web pages in Deutsch [ german, the .de domain is a dead
give away], especially links to forum posts.
Cyrillic Russian is another. Since my brother the Russian teacher lives
about a thousand miles away, I can send him small lines of text, but
response time is quite long.

I was wondering what any of you thought the best [accuracy wise] web
based translation services was.

I once had the title "Linux in a Nutshell" translated as "Linux in a
groove brightly" by a translate this page interpreter.
And, of course, there is this gem I was sent when I asked a friend what
he used.
