looks pretty tricky. i'm trying something similar.
but the wireless nic makers have an annoying habit
of changing chipsets and still call it the same model.
for instance, tried a linksys wmp11 only to find out
ver2.7 (no where on box says 2.7 ) uses a broadcom
chipset that is unsupported
right now. exchanged for a smc 2602w and they
changed from prismII to admtek8211
same thing ( only for redhat 7.3 and 8.0)
so while people will write that it worked for them,
the newer model to market may not.
quite frustrating i can assure.
