So, if I understand correctly, if I only connect to my box through the actual
console and telnet I won't need a getty. &nbsp;The console I get from plugging
directly into the box is not a virtual console and doesn't go through a serial
port, and telnet doesn't use getty at all.<br>

Am I understanding it correctly?<br>
