Dear Ron,
I'm a frequent visitor to linux channels on IRC. By far the =
best IRC network to visit is the openprojects network and the server is
irc.openprojects.net port 6667 . There are almost 100 =
channels on this net devoted to every aspect of Linux or BSD and the =
people are usually
friendly. Two of the more popular channels are #linpeople or =
#linuxhelp. Hope this helps.
=
=
Best wishes,
Thanks Tom:)
Hope to see you at a meeting !

HI All:)
Can anyone advise me as to what IRC servers support Linux chatrooms =
of any type, and also does anyone know the names
of them. I downloaded the latest version of mIRC and I'm learning =
how to use this new mIRC. Its been a long time since I used=20
mIRC. So if you can give me a little information I would be =
grateful.
Yours:
Ron.
P.S. Oh I'm on a windoze box until my replacement motherboard comes =
in to build my new Linux box.
and to Bob Meyer thanks for the Linux Mandrake 8.0 dude I can't wait =
to install it and start a new chapter=20
in my computing life:)
See Ya'll=20
Soon:)
