Dear Ron,
I'm a frequent visitor to linux channels on IRC. By far the =
best IRC network to visit is the openprojects network and the server is
irc.openprojects.net port 6667 . There are almost 100 =
channels on this net devoted to every aspect of Linux or BSD and the =
people are usually
friendly. Two of the more popular channels are #linpeople or =
