mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /mnt/disk will mount the filesystem, as long as
the windows fs is the first one on the disk. the fstab entry should look
like. /mnt/disk is a directory that i make, as well as /mnt/zip,
/mnt/jaz ./etc.
/dev/hda1 /mnt/disk vfat defaults 1 2
that should do it for you.
