Linux Distributions on a floppy are just that, a build or version of linux that fits onto one or two floppy diskettes. We suggest trying one of the floppy disk distributions if you wish to get the basic feel of linux without make a major committment, i.e resizing you hard drive which can reulst in data loss. You won't get a fancy GUI (Graphical User Interface) and a ton of cool programs to try but you can at least check it out.
