[nflug] Multiple Monitors

I recently got 2 monitor working on my Linux Box with my Radion 9200
(two video outs on the card). It
is working with MergedFB (that might just be an ATI thing, I'm really
not sure). My desktop stretches across both monitors (which are both
almost identical; same color depth, same resolution) giving me a
resolution of 2048x768. Is there any way that I can have it so that my
primary desktop is just on one monitor? And then I can use the other
monitor to just drag shit into? The stetched desktop is cool, but for
my purposes I have a lot of stuff open, but each would be in one monitor
or the other, and I would need to move from one screen to the next
quickly. And also, I might add another monitor to the mix in the future.
I've been looking into it and it looks like "xinerama" is what I need to
get working. When I try to use it (Option "Xinerama" "true") everything
appears to go off ok, but my desktops are just mirrored. The mouse and
windows move the same in each (not from one to the next) as if I had
done no monitor configuration at all.

Is Xinerama what I want to do? I'm not really sure. I need someone to
say "Yes Josh, you need Xinerama working" or "No Josh, you are barking
up the wrong tree, look into flibbityflabbityfloo"

Thanks!
