(Do not be afraid that the titles below have Debian in thier name -- they are
pretty generic sites and are good general Linux knowledge).

For those who want to upgrade their "Network knowledge" or just refresh an
existing body of knowledge -- or want an easy to understand network tutorial to
send to someone.

Very nice with pictures and explanations of ARP, DNS, packet, the OSI model and
its comparison to a real packet.  Not a surface explanation but an actual
description of the packets being sent.

While browsing I came across Wake On Lan, knew it was always there but didn't
realize how easy it was!

Just apt-get a package and send a packet to the MAC address of the "sleeping"
pc and wake it up - I'll be trying this today if I get time!  Have you ever had
to call someone at a site you support because someone (or you ) accidentaly
shut off the machine (oooh that -r option is so easy to forget! :-)
