Error loading bt878 module

Well i got it working...turns out the it wasnt compiled (sry guys i was 
mistaken). However I cannot get any stations to show. I tried xawtv and 
tvtime. I want to use scantv that is *suppose* to come with xawtv but it is 
no where to be found. Our cable is NTSC and which of the following 
(us-bcast,us-cable,us-cablehsc)?
