]winmodems and Mandrake 9.1 and 9.2?

Ok, Great. That is a conexant modem, you can get the drivers from
http://www.linuxant.com , the free one is throttled to 14.4 data, the
full one offers fax and 56 data. The driver is $14.95 and it is well
worth it, with the full driver, the connection rocks! It would not be
something a newbie could easily install. If you want, you can call me at
553-8525 once you get the driver and I can walk you through it. Or it
might be easier if you came by our shop with your pc, there are a few
other options I like to put in /etc/ppp/options that will greatly help
out on the dial up too. If you do, I would only need you to bring in the
box, no monitor, etc. Let me know.
