You may be missing the libraries for fpx format.  On my system, 'locate fpx'
gives:
/usr/lib/ImageMagick/modules/coders/fpx.la
/usr/lib/ImageMagick/modules/coders/fpx.so

If someone could send an FPX file to me, I'll see if 'convert' works here.
