The so-called "trailing slash" redirects are handled by an Apache module called mod_dir. It should have been installed by default by perhaps it wasn't. Here's some documentation here... http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/mod/mod_dir.html I assume you installed Apache via RedHat's RPMs? -Cliff
