RH and MDK hardware 3d accelleration

Well, it could be one of two things. We need to know if it is supposed to use
'DRI' or 'GLX' (the two competing Linux OpenGL methods). Poking around, I
found that Xfree86 4.2 supports the SiS630 using DRI. If you add 'Load dri' to
your config file (typically '/etc/X11/XF86Config-4'), you should find that
'xdpyinfo' shows the 'DRI' extension. Then try 'glinfo' to see if you actually
get any hardware acceleration listed in the info.

Hope this helps...

Cheers!
