That will take a little more work to set up some kind of test.  From anecdotal evidence, I'm guessing the dell switch will be faster. 
On the other hand, there are a brazillian books out there that will tell you how to set up a Cisco switch/router.

I'd love to see what speeds you get between L3 subnets.  I'm currently
between them and much more expensive Cisco switches.
