[nflug] util-linux patching

I am running into an issue right now.  I am setting up AES256 encryption
on a RHEL4 box.

AS it lays out right now:
RHEL4
Kernel recompile worked.
New loop module built fine, and is loadable.

But, when I try to patch util-linux-2.12r, patch just hangs.  I can
kill, pause, etc it, but it doesn't seem to do anytyhing.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.  Thanks.
