[nflug] MythTV users- Channel scan?

Last weekend I built a MythTV box.

I've found that if I scan my Adelphia cable connection that it'll  
find all the channels I care about- but it also constantly overwrites  
these channels.

I end up with 1-1, 1-2, and 1-3... The scan shows that each is  
'added' once but 'updated' many times. To record Heroes on Monday  
night I had to do a fresh scan and cancel it immediately after it  
found wgrz (as to prevent it from being overwritten).

So, anybody know how to prevent MythTV from erroneously updating  
channels while scanning? Or maybe some alternative to using the built- 
in scan?
