Hi all, and good morning!

Trying to set up the combination mentioned in the subject line.  However, when I go to start amavisd, I get the following:

root at userver7:/var/spool/mail# amavisd-new
hostname: Unknown host
  The value of variable $myhostname is "", but should have been
  a fully qualified domain name; perhaps uname(3) did not provide such.
  You must explicitly assign a FQDN of this host to variable $myhostname
  in amavisd.conf, or fix what uname(3) provides as a host's network name!
root at userver7:/var/spool/mail#

Where is amavisd-new pulling the $myhostname value from?  I have tried setting it up in as many places as I have been told to (via various pieces of documentation), however I am still getting this error.

Another question I have is about the Courier POP3 daemon.  When I go to telnet to the pop3 server and log in, I get the following:

root at userver7:/var/spool/mail# telnet localhost 110
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.

+OK Hello there.
USER root
+OK Password required.
PASS ********
-ERR chdir Maildir failed
Connection closed by foreign host.

My question is simple:  Where should the maildir files be located on the server?
