The ivtv stuff used to be buggy as hell for the hauppauge pvr-? cards 
but with the newer kernels they just plain rock. I've set up a few boxes 
lately with Ubuntu Feisty, the new MythTV (using schedules direct, cause 
zap2it crapped out) and with satellites, both dish and direct, just 
plain rock.
