Ok, tried this and this is what I got:

Cpu1  :  0.0%us,  0.0%sy,  0.0%ni,100.0%id,  0.0%wa,  0.0%hi,  0.0%si,  0.0%st
Mem:   2009532k total,  1974708k used,    34824k free,    52020k buffers
Swap:  2031608k total,      308k used,  2031300k free,  1578368k cached

So it looks like it is using both cores.
