[nflug] ubuntu 7.04 sound loss

This may sound stupid, but make sure all your cables
are plugged in all the way. I have had something like
this happen, recompiled the kernel, reloaded alsa
modules went crazy, turned out one of my cables were
not pushed in all the way (found that out while I was
about to open the case).
