[nflug] mobo upgrade question

Please don't laugh, I have a P4G533-LA motherboard
(Compaq Presario S5000NX Desktop PC), and it has 

from dmesg...
CPU: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.50GHz stepping 09
agpgart: Detected an Intel 845G Chipset.
ICH4: chipset revision 2

I have little money but I am interested in upgrading
the processor. I am looking at

Intel Celeron D 336 2.8 GHz 256KB L2 cache Processor
BX80547RE2800CN ($46 bucks), would this be the best I
can hope to do for this mobo ? I think it's 400 Mhz
bus. Would there be a point to putting in another proc
that is faster ?

I see this at pricewatch...
$162.00	 -   	pentium 4 3.0ghz 400mhz
$61.00 	 -  	pentium 4 3.06ghz 533

Why is the slower one more expensive ?

I would consider another motherboard, I saw this...
