I can't test that particular variant but you can use this to check:

	zdump -v EST5EDT | grep 2007

If it says dates in March and November then you have the correct set of
zoneinfo files.  If it says dates in April and October then you have
outdated zoneinfo files.

If the OS is current and receiving updates from Ubuntu then they likely
would have patches you could install if you need updates.
