I realize that this may be beyond the scope of this mailing list, but
since we seem to have a decent thread ongoing about routers here, I
thought I would just put in my $.02 worth.

I have a Linksys WRT45G wireless router.  I have the latest firmware
running on it from Linksys' website.  However, I know that there is dd-wrt
out there that supposedly works for this particular router.  However,
whenever I go up update the firmware with the DD-WRT firmware, I
consistently get an "Upgrade Failed" message even before the update even
begins.  After that, I am shown the update page where the update progress
bar still gets filled in, but as far as I can tell, no upgrade actually
takes place.

So, at this point, I am at a loss here and any ideas/suggestions would help.
