[nflug] Hardware question

I have a Gateway laptop that the screen does not work. I did some Google 
searches and I think the LCD inverter is bad. Is there a shop around 
that might be able to repair this? Or, are there any sites where I could 
buy another one and attempt the surgery myself? Thanks!
