phpMyAdmin works just fine.  Of course you have to be running LAP (as well as the M :-)

Can't any SQL DB admin tool work as long as you authenticate with a valid admin acct to your DB?

The mysql products (MySQL Admin, Query Browser) are not working to
well for me (always some sort of error, then program seg faults) and I
really have no interest in using those products anymore. My question
is what are my alternatives? I searched but I could not find anything
similiar, and if I did it was not free. Also I have tried the mysql
products more than once on Slack 10.2 and Ubuntu with the same
results.
