[nflug] mplayer issue

When I try to play videos on yahoos webpages mplayer
says connecting to server and never playes the video.
Just hangs. I tested it too on apples site playing
trailers. Sometimes it hangs at 99% trying to play
trailers and some trailers play. Any ideas?
