[nflug] Booting Ubuntu

I am having trouble booting Ubuntu 6.06. I can not boot with my WLAN 
card installed(Realtech 8185). I have to remove the card in order to 
boot. I had the same problem when installing. Any help would be great. 
just a side note i am n00b to Linux but willing to learn.
