[nflug] Cisco Switch question on cloned NIC card

There's a little trouble with that method..  The Mac address tables
take time for entries to expire and disappear (I thyink for a cisco
switch they default to 30 seconds or so). They don't go as soon as the
cable is unplugged.  Hence if he has a failover setup the unplug cable
route is faster for his needs,  but either way should effectively work,
though I think the route you outlined requires more effort.
